The Town will be distributing 1,000 trees to Georgina residents, with a maximum of two trees per vehicle.
Location: The ROC
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (or while supplies last)
Residents may select from the following native and climate-appropriate species:
- Red Maple
- Canadian Serviceberry
- White Pine
Request for a specific tree species is not guaranteed. It is first come, first served.
Registration
As part of the partnership starting this year, residents wishing to receive a tree must sign up online and will be asked to provide an email address, along with consent to be contacted throughout the following year regarding the health and status of their tree(s). This follow up helps to monitor tree health and better understand the survivability and overall success of the program. Visit georgina.ca/GeorginaGrows to register. Proof of registration is required to pick up trees. Registration opens on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
